The way I handled this move was pretty stupid. I should have created a whole new blog, but instead converted the old one and then had to go back and transfer my old posts BACK to this one. The end result is that 98% of my old posts made the transfer, but 100% of my old comments were lost. I think that comments are an essential part of a blog, so this is no small loss. But it's my own fault.
*sadness*
maybe lost but not forgotten :o))
